Thus, under this outcome, The Training Programme, Handbook, Self-help workbook will be digitalized to ensure their accessibility to youth educators, professionals and youngsters, in order to make learning tailored and self-paced for the needs of professionals working. Additionally, this outcome pursues the objective of establishing an online learning environment that stores all the innovative outcomes, guaranteeing broader outreach,and functioning as a comprehensive resource hub. Free access to resources will contribute to: – support young people addressing climate change by furnishing them tools to overcome distress, encouraging them to become active citizens and promoting increased civic engagement; – promote capacity bulding and tools that will guide youth workers in addressing challenges linked to climate change, youth and mental health; – facilitating opportunities for the professional development of youth and specialists in this field.

Handbook

The Climate Anxiety Handbook will be developed as a comprehensive collection of essential information, resources, and strategies to understand and identify climate anxiety in young individuals while providing effective support to manage and alleviate its impact. The handbook explores relevant terminology, the various emotions, and the physical experiences that climate anxiety can provoke. It also includes suggestions and practical exercises on how to support young people in moving from anxiety or other intense feelings toward coping, action, and joy. This resource is specifically tailored for professionals working with youth and youth workers who engage with young people affected by climate anxiety.
